Salvatore Cuschera was born in Tuscany in 1958. He is an Italian sculptor, travelling between his studios in England and Italy. He graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and in 1990 he began to exhibit in group and solo exhibitions. He created his first public sculpture in Gibellina, in Sicily in 1992. 

He has won several awards and has participated in important exhibitions such as “XIV Esposizione Quadriennale d’arte di Roma”, at the 54.Venice Biennale with an installation of sculptures in the Arsenal gardens, “Ceramic Now! 60° Premio Faenza” at MIC, Museo Internazionale della Ceramica of Faenza. In 2018, two of his works were chosen to be exhibited at the Farnesina, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome and in the same year a monograph book was published with a selection of his works in iron by Silvana Editorial. Three large sculptures made with mainly recycled materials, are currently exhibited in the sculpture garden at Farleys House & Gallery, ‘Home of the Surrealists’, in the South of England.
