Mignon (b. 1992) studied painting at Dongguk University and is currently pursuing a master’s programme at the same graduate university.
Mignon received a prize at the Korean Contemporary Women’s Art Competition (2011) and was presented with a silver award at the Gangnam-gu ‘Office Junk Art Contest’ (2014).
In addition, she has participated in several art fairs and group exhibitions including Asyaaf (2016, 2017) and Asia Hotel Art Fair (2021). Through her practice the artist aims to create a ‘fairytale’ and aims to maximise people’s emotions through her use of using Korean materials such as Hanji and ink.
