Choi gained Master’s and Ph.D degrees in graphics and advertising from HongIk University. Based on long-term academic and practical experience, the artist works by applying a variety of typography theories to letters and symbols using computer graphics. The geometric forms of the letters and symbols and their intense colour coupled with the diversity of fluid patterns is typical of her practice.
